
RCS will be closed on Monday, July 24th due to the water being shut off for the day. All summer programs and classes are canceled for the day, and the building itself will be closed. We will send out an update about Tuesday when we have more information.

We have just been informed that our water will be turned off at 11:30 AM for the rest of the day. We will be closing the building immediately, and due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to provide transportation home for our students. We ask that you please come and pick up your students right away, as there will be no restrooms available for use. Thank you for your prompt response.

The RCS summer school programs will start on Monday, July 3rd. Please note that some bus times have been adjusted. The times are as follows:

Band rehearsal for graduation has been cancelled for today due to the impending rain tomorrow.

Due to the Science Regents scores not being available as of yet, the 9-11 report cards will not be sent out until later next week.

Just a reminder that Moving Up Day begins at 8:30 tomorrow morning.

The 7th & 8th grade honors ceremony scheduled this morning will begin at 8:30, not 8:00 as originally posted.

Please be reminded that if your child needs transportation for regents' exams they will need to sign up in the Main Office. Otherwise it would be self transportation.

A reminder that the Academic Awards Ceremony for students in grades 9-12 will be held on Thursday, June 8th at 5:30 PM in the RCS Cafetorium. Dessert will be provided. Please contact Maureen Burton for more information.

Elementary homework help has been cancelled for today, 6/5/2023.

Students from Ms. Royal's 7-12 grade art classes went on a field trip on May 31st to Elizabeth Nield's pottery studio in Otego. They learned about throwing on the pottery wheel, and hand building with clay and clay slabs.







Congratulations to the Varsity Softball team as they upset 3-seeded Laurens/Milford last night, 10-7! Their next game will be in Southern Cayuga, this Thursday, at 4:30.

Please be reminded that the NYS Science 8 Performance Test is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Tuesday, May 23rd and Wednesday, May 24th.

With a win last night over Gilboa, Varsity Softball advances to the second round of Sectionals where they will play Laurens/Milford in Laurens on Tuesday, May 23rd at 4:30.

Today is the day! Varsity Softball plays their first round Sectional game in Gilboa @ 4:30. Please come support the girls!

Thank you Roxbury voters! The budget passed by a vote of 111-42. The vote to release the funds from the bus reserve passed by a vote of 112-41. Tracy Sanford ran unopposed and received 132 votes. Thank you for once again for supporting our students and community.

The Class of 2024 will be holding the traditional Budget Vote Brooks Chicken BBQ today beginning at 3:00. Halves are $8.00, and sides will be available. The annual budget vote will be held today, May 16th, from 3-9 PM in the school cafetorium.
