RCS is looking forward to a fabulous Halloween Parade tomorrow. With the possibility of bad weather, we have a plan to hold the parade indoors but as of right now, we are still planning to be outside. A decision will be made closer to parade time, and we will notify everyone of the decision. If the parade is held indoors, parents and guardians are welcome to come into the gym to attend. If you are planning to sign your student(s) out when it’s over, please send in a note in the morning. Sign outs will be done after the parade in the Main Office whether we're inside or out. We can’t wait until tomorrow! See you there!

Congratulations to the boys team for making it to the Section IV finals! This game is Saturday 11/1 at 1:30 PM at Sidney High School. Section IV has gone cashless and tickets will have to be purchased using GoFan. Use the QR code or follow the directions to purchase your tickets ahead of time.
Picture re-takes will be on Monday 11/3.

The Roxbury youth soccer team had a tournament today and came in 3rd out of 7 teams. Congratulations to a great group of young athletes! The future of RCS and GCR athletes is looking bright.

Congratulations to the boys varsity soccer team for earning a spot in the Delaware League championship game on Saturday the 18th in Oneonta at Wright National Soccer Fields. The game starts at 10:15 and there is a $5 admission for everyone, children 10 and under are free.
They also have earned the #1 seed in the Section IV Class D soccer tournament! They have earned a bye for round one, they will play Friday the 24th in Gilboa at 3:30.

Today is Parade and Bonfire Day! The GCR Spirit Parade will be kicking off at 6:00 PM , followed by the bonfire behind the school. Please note that, due to the burn ban, there will not be an ACTUAL fire tonight - come out and see the surprise alternative! Also, the 7-12 grade classes and the PTSA will be having fundraisers, with everything from walking tacos and mac and cheese to glowsticks and s'mores! The attached flyer lists the fun and delicious offerings that will be available for purchase for the evening! So c'mon out and cheer on our teams, support our classes and clubs, enjoy some yummy snacks and beverages, and join our community for this fun fall celebration. See you there!
